Looking after animals is always rewarding but also I find very hard emotionally...it is not possible for me to remain emotionally detached, whilst they are by no means attached to me I am to them. There have been so many successes this summer but many tragedies too, it is the way of things that often by the time a wild animal gets rescued they are very vulnerable and fragile or very poorly...
