This I what I have done with some of the cuttings ... looks unsightly at the moment, just trying the cardboard to suppress weeds as I understand the dont like it much and will mulch over the top probably... I just used a screwdriver to poke a hole about 6inches deep and then pushed the willow into it... watch this space to see if it grows ππΏπ
