#Repost @elliegregor • • • • • • Isle of Skye SAS WHO DARES WINS - RECRUIT 23 Over the next few weeks you will see me at my absolutely rawest. Here is a little incite into the conditions we all endured. We had very little sleep, maybe an hour or two a day, if that. Our food was rationed from the beginning, I lost over 11lb in weight! There were no washing facilities, that’s right not even a shower. We were aloud no home comforts, no makeup, no hair brushes, no cosmetics, no electronics, no communication with home and we only had two sets of clothes, if we were lucky. There was no warmth, we “slept” in a barn with a door that did not close. We had absolutely no control, we were always anxious and anticipating the next task or beasting! Knowing all this, even now, I would go back again tomorrow. The experience was second to none. It challenged ever aspect of my being. Many of you have asked me what possessed me to apply for such a brutal challenge. The answer is, I enjoy pushing myself to my limits, I truly believe that life begins at the end of your comfort zone. Adventure excites me, pain strengthens me and until you have really pushed yourself to the limit, how do you truly know how far you can go?
