This is Vindolanda named after the The Vindolanda Trust who found a wonderful Hare and Hound carved stone...Vindolanda can be seen in the Lander Gallery in Truro. :)

When I was studying for my MA I researched a number of artists who at certain points in their lives found they had something that they MUST say, regardless of how it fitted within their practice or would be received by their peers or critics...it is easy for this sort of work to become propaganda and for the artists that I researched that was okay...they had to say it anyway. This is a long way of saying when I vote in May I will be thinking of the welfare of our animals both wild and domesticated. So I may post a few images like this over the next month...I am afraid I just MUST say what I have to say, I am more than happy for the images to be shared.
